Parallel implementation and application of the higher-order FDTD with convolution PML

In this paper, a parallel Higher-order FDTD (HOFDTD) algorithm is described. Moreover, a novel implementation of convolution PML (CPML) is presented for the HO-FDTD method. A printed microstrip patch antenna is designed to analyze the feasibility of the parallel algorithm and the absorbing performance of the CPML. The simulation results show that the parallel algorithm is feasible and the CPML performs well in the HO-FDTD scheme.
