3D reconstruction for soft tissue of the human body

In the background of virtual surgery application, this paper establishes three-dimensional model of the human body tissue in line with the biomedical characteristics, using CT images of human liver and stomach and based on Amira software and contour extraction technology. By quadratic transformation of the 3D reconstruction data, compatibility with high-level programming language is realized. In the Visual Studio environment, visual rendering and texture mapping of 3D model are presented. Finally, according to the characteristic of human liver tissue entity structure, subdivision technology is adopted to establish the virtual body model of the liver tissue. Compared with real human tissue specimens, the reconstructed model reproduces human anatomical shape of the liver and stomach, which has laid a good groundwork for the subsequent research of virtual surgery.
