On spatial pulse position modulation for optical wireless communications

This paper demonstrates experimentally the performance of spatial pulse position modulation (SPPM) for the application of optical wireless communication in wireless sensor networks. Low-complexity space shift keying is combined with energy-efficient pulse position modulation in a set-up of two optical transmitters and a receiver.
