Cartographic Analyzes in GIScience

This paper presents a method of cartographic analysis named morphology of parcel mosaic as a tool in GIScience. The method uses the ArcMap program, spatial modelling, spatial statistical analysis, computationally intensive tools and visualisation that enable extracting and mapping information from large data sets about large-scale spatial processes. It was shown that morphology of parcel mosaic was embedded in the GIScience process. The results of the method were applied in real estate market analysis.
