Configurational resonances in nanocomposite thin films electrodynamics

The configurational resonances are determined by the values of the polarizabilities of inclusions and morphology of nanocomposite film. Namely, they are determined by the distances between the nanoparticles, concentration, distribution and shape of the nanoparticles. These resonances are evaluated from analysis of the effective susceptibility of the film. A single-oscillator model for the linear response of inclusions material is used. Studying numerically the light absorption of nanocomposite thin film, the conditions of configurational resonances are analyzed to be adjusted independently varying the concentration and shape of the nanoparticles.
