The enhanced performance of the DCC current comparator using AccuBridge® technology

The Direct Current Comparator (DCC) resistance bridges have hindered its development as a standalone bridge with inherent ratio errors of 0.05 ppm to 0.02 ppm (k=2). By improving the technologies described in the paper, the reduction of the inherent ratio error of less than 0.01 ppm to 0.005 ppm, in the various ranges, can be achieved. Verification of the ratio accuracy can now be performed to be comparable with the technology in the Cryogenic Current Comparator (CCC). Automatic balancing facilitates a Nano measurement operation of the bridge for more accurate resistance measurements over the range of 0.1 ohm to 100 kohm.
