A 100/10-MHz injection controlled LC-VCO

This paper presents a LC-VCO whose frequency is switched between 100MHz and 10MHz by injection control. The frequency range is selected to target Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Injection control is faster than voltage control when the same oscillator is needed by another module in the chip to perform some function. The circuit is implemented in 50nm MOS process using LTSpice tool.
