Comparative study on active filtering using resonant controllers and multiple rotating reference frames

In this paper a three-phase converter is designed and used as a shunt active harmonic filter. To realize active power filtering (APF) various different control techniques exist. In this work the multi-synchronous reference frame (MSRF) and the single-synchronous reference frame (SSRF) are compared both in simulation and experimental results and computational effort. All results are investigated in respect of their comparability and accuracy.
