Signal integrity improvements of bended coupled lines by using miniaturized capacitance and inductance compensation structures

New schemes of right-angle bended coupled lines with four 45-degree-angle bends employed miniaturized capacitance and inductance compensation structures are proposed in this paper. The advantages of the proposed schemes have smaller consumption of PCB circuit size in bending area, and maintain acceptable transmission level and low reflection as compared with conventional right-angle bended coupled lines with right-angle bend employed capacitance and inductance compensation structures. Measured validations are implemented to verify the proposed schemes in both time-domain and frequency-domain. Finally, the measured results show that common-mode noise and differential-to-common mode conversion have significant reductions.
