Analysing and designing automated and dynamic bus route allocation

The research mentioned in this treatise summarizes the counter measures for the issues relating to bus transport system which exists within the present systems. The issues namely being, revision of existing bus routes regularly with an autonomous approach on the basis of population density heat map and the lack of dynamic bus allocation on suggested routes at respective intervals for optimum utilization of resources. The first issue is resolved by suggesting two algorithms, one concentrating on converging the bus routes at the most populous hubs of the city providing maximized coverage of the bus routes, while the other suggesting a revamp in the system and de-congesting the routes away from densely populated areas providing a remedy to the traffic chaos attributed to the buses. The second issue is resolved by using data analytics as a base, and the obtained data is implemented in a two-pronged algorithm which provides solution to dynamic allocation of buses, and thus provides optimum utilization of our resources. The research combines to provide a path for the development of an optimum and environment friendly bus transport system.
