Doppler spectrum measurements for land mobile satellite systems around 2.2 GHz and 3.8 GHz

This paper presents recent measurements addressing the Doppler spectrum spread issue for land mobile satellite applications. Those measurements are a preliminary step aiming at building a comprehensive database from various scenarios (type of environments, elevation, speed, frequency band, antenna type …) towards a Doppler modelling activity. Preliminary results and first conclusions on Doppler spectrum spread are also presented.
