Stirring effectiveness characterization based on Doppler spread in a reverberation chamber

The stirring effectiveness is an important parameter to characterize the performance of the stirrers in a reverberation chamber (RC) and to aid the design of the stirrers. In this paper, we investigate the feasibility of characterizing the stirring effectiveness using the Doppler spread in an RC. Measurements are performed and the results indicate that the Doppler spread could be an effective and efficient way to characterize the stirring effectiveness.
