Enhancing Privacy Notice Applications through Interaction Design

Today there are a variety of application development tools, depending on the operating system, the end device that will be used, and the required hardware, compatibility, and interconnectivity. Any of the above can be used for developments related to user privacy, depending on customer requirements, developer team needs or developer experience. This involves a high investment of resources because the team requires skilled personnel in legal areas, computer security, graphic design and cognitive ergonomics. Despite this situation, there are no specific software tools that allow one to build effective privacy management applications that include the three requirements involved: compliance with legal terms, systems development with a sustainable cost and usability for the end user. This paper proposes the application of interaction patterns to develop software about privacy notices.
