The use of surveillance data in augmented reality system to assist control tower operations

This paper presents the initial results of a study on the impact of using surveillance data in augmented reality systems for airport control tower. The advantages of this system were assessed and a preliminary safety assessment was performed using the SAM framework. The implementation and the results obtained are described.
