Application the cellular automata method for modeling the growth of surfaces corrosion defects

The new method of modeling the physics processes by their simulation using cellular automata (CA) is proposed. Destruction dynamic of the analyzed areas is shown. Modeling using CA enables a creation the simulation of dynamic systems with high correctness of pitting corrosion, including the micro-level. The results of modeling the example of pitting damages on the metals and alloys surface are presented. Based on the comparison of results obtained by simulation and laboratory experiments the effectiveness of the proposed method is shown. Established that the modelling using CA enables a creation the simulation of dynamic systems with high correctness of physics processes.
