Theoretical principles and methods of distortions recognition in load surges, short circuits and powerful electric drives launching type power lines

Theoretical principles of recognition methods of transition processes in power systems based on impulse conversion of harmonic signals, integral and differential difference algorithms, randomization and correlative assessment of disturbances in high-voltage power lines are highlighted in the paper. Time diagrams of signal recognition of load surges, ground fault and powerful electrical appliances switching on are presented. Special-purpose processor structure of disturbances recognition in high-voltage power lines is shown.
