Research of operating modes of thyristor converters in DC electric drive with variation of back-EMF in load

This article discusses features of work a single-phase half-wave thyristor converter DC electric drive, working in an active-inductive load with the back-EMF. The simulation results of the converter for different values of the back-EMF of the load. Dependence the value of the snubber capacitor capacitance required to limit the amplitude of the switching overvoltage, the values of the back-EMF is presented.
