A representation method of illustration in rare book using paint-strength model

A new color representation method is proposed. This method is introduced by a fact which is experimentally obtained through the study of expressing illustrations in rare book. So paint-strength model is newly developed in RGB space, and by using it, we suggest a method of expressing illustrations in a rare book.
