WDM switch technology application in smart substation communication network

By analyzing the typical communication networking method of Process Layer in Smart Substation, this paper proposes the problems of current widely used Process Layer communication isolation network by using VLAN Technology. This paper expounds the basic principle and advantage of using WDM technology to realize the Switch, proposes the Security isolation communication networking method of using WDM Switch in Smart Substation Process Layer. This method has obvious advantages than the current VLAN logic isolation method in theory, truly meets the "Three Networks In One" needs of Smart Substation Process Layer communication network.
