Scenario method in economical dispatch of microgrid connected to distribution system

The intermittent power has unpredictable property, specific to the situation that microgrid containing intermittent power operates by connected to distribution system, this paper build a dynamic economical dispatch model with the objective of minimizing the cost of conventional generator. Considering intermittent power's uncertainty, this paper applies the scenario method, by means of Latin hypercube sampling, Cholesky Decomposition and Scenarios Elimination to create the error scenarios, and solves the dynamic economical dispatch model above-mentioned by using CONOPT that is under in General Algebraic Modeling Software(GAMS). Numerical examples verify the correctness of the proposed model. The method's effectiveness and practicability also can be proved.
