Passive time delay estimation techniques application to ionospheric links

The domain addressed in this paper, is the passive time delay estimation (TDE) techniques and their application to ionospheric links. The methods computed in such a case are referred as to generalised cross-correlation (GCC) methods. These methods are applied to the specific problem of estimating time delay in ionospheric links based on the Watterson channel propagation model.
