Window based model for simulation of integrative human physiological response to webpages

The taxing method of understanding user experience (UX) on webpages through physiological measures for the purpose of defining users' hitches and facilitate design decisions as become a subject of interest for recent user interface system development. This paper discusses a window-based model that simulates user reaction, during interaction with stimulus like a webpage element. The model is developed based on empirical data obtained from a study on users physiological response to web contents. Attributes used ranges from parameters; variables and other quantitative and qualitative data correlates described using MATLAB. With MATLAB, we can describe physiological response and display simulation of the physiological responses that could also be used to test another hypothesis. The model is capable of predicting both the qualitative and quantitative changes in the interactive session. The model also computes both the response of users and list out significant events in their interactive sessions. The output from the model shows simulated results compared with the real data of corresponding web events. This model can also detect significant instances where response peaks are correlated with events that occur at a particular time interval using a low pass convoluted filter.
