On $q$-ary Linear Quasi-Constant-Weight Codes

We show that all k-dimensional q-ary linear quasiconstant-weight codes are equivalent to the first-order RM code or its copies for k ≥ 4, and the same result holds also for the case k = 3 and q being a prime number.
