The Swedish demining centre

SWEDEC is now organised as described in this paper and the main tasks are to: support Swedish international commitments, both for military and humanitarian purposes, in the field of EOD and demining, by providing training for involved units and individuals as well as developing methods and equipment; train regular and reserve officers, police officers and civilian personnel; and develop the function of military engineering.
