A Microcomputer Application For Training The Mentally Retarded

A microcomputer system is being integrated into a training program for the mentally retarded. The system has been interfaced to an assembly line production situation designed to train mentally retarded individuals to eventually work in a non-sheltered environment. The computer monitors training trends and individual productivity levels. Based on this information, the computer is able to provide immediate feedback to either the supervisor or the trainee relative to progress and training.
