Emergency heat and power supply with mCHP device in global blackout

The microCHP devices can have important role in case of stand-alone emergency supply mode. We investigated the possible operational modes and the transitions between the network - island mode and also the load and driving torque change. Also we defined the requirements for the black start capability. Finally we simulated the dynamic changes by MATLAB Simulink. By the simulation we are going to develop a control box that controls also the mechanical power source (engine), the reactive power compensator, the breakers and the load too.
