Implementation and performance evaluation of sentiment analysis web application in cloud computing using IBM Blue mix

Cloud computing permits clients and organizations to utilize applications without infrastructure, platform & even software and access their individual data through laptops, mobiles, PDAs with internet connection. IT firm needs Infrastructure and experts to install, configure and maintain them. Servers are costly and need huge power, cooling and maintenance. After that huge stack of business application is required which are expensive to buy and difficult to develop. After that, there is need to continuously upgrade them, test them and install patches on thousands of other desktops. It is very time consuming, expensive and stressful. With cloud, only requirement is an internet connection and browser. There is no need to buy any hardware or software. we just choose services, customize them and start using. This eliminates the need of installation, up gradation, testing and maintenance of software. It is cheap and we only pay for what we use, everything is automatic and available anywhere and at any time. It is more secure, scalable, reliable and convenient. IBM Blue mix is a cloud based environment for us to build & run the applications and utilize platform services (PaaS). In this paper, Implementation & evaluation of performance of web application using IBM Blue mix as a platform for cloud computing will be discussed. A web application is takes the real time data from the social networking site “Twitter” and performance analysis is done on entities and based on the comparison, better candidate is returned.
