A compact and low-profile wideband circularly-polarized slot antenna fed by coplanar waveguide and microstrip line

A compact and low-profile wideband circularly polarized slot antenna fed by coplanar waveguide and microstrip line is proposed. The proposed structures are optimized with a parametric study and the simulated results show that the proposed design offers the impedance bandwidths of about 32.6% and 27.3% separately and the 3-dB axial-ratio bandwidths of about 31.1%.
