On Clinical Pathway Discovery from Electronic Health Record Data

In this column, the authors propose a practice-based clinical pathway development process using patient data from electronic health records. The authors aim to examine the interaction between patients' health conditions and treatment approaches, and learn the most common pathways of care to inform better patient engagement and outcomes in healthcare practices.
