The Crack Resistance Analysis in Mid-Span Closure Segment of Continuous Rigid-Frame Box Girder Bridge Based on ANSYS

This paper is based on Tuojiang River Bridge, which is a continuous rigid-frame box girder bridge with a span arrangement of 118+210+118m. Finite element analysis software ANSYS is used to set up a spatial entity model of mid-span closure segments for local stress analysis. In this way, the internal stress distribution and cracking mechanism of the mid-span closure segments is partly revealed.
