SGCMG non-singularity steering based on adaptive Gauss pseudospectral method

In this paper, a kind of fast trajectory optimization method based on adaptive Gauss pseudospectral method was introduced to solve the singularity problem on large-angle maneuver of the satellites taking SGCMG as their actuators. This method took the large-angle maneuver problem as an optimization problem, which met the boundary condition and a series of path constrains, inclusive of gimbal angle constrain, gimbal rates constrain, singularity index constrain and satellite angular rates constrain, and at the same time minimize some performance criterion. And then, taking combination with adaptive Gauss pseudospectral method and nonlinear programming technic to solve the optimization problem, the optimal non-singularity gimbal angle trajectory could been gotten in a few seconds. Numerical simulation suggests that the smooth optimization trajectory, satisfied with all constrains, of a 4-successive attitude maneuver mission could be produced in 140s or less with a precision above 10
