Experimental investigation of matched filtering and blind adaptive equalizer design for Nyquist-WDM systems

We investigate the relationship between matched filtering and blind equalization for a Nyquist-WDM system. With a Nyquist PDM-16QAM experiment, we show that frequency domain blind equalization leads to a computational efficient adaptive equalizer design.
