Plane wave scattering by two coalescing spheres

This paper extends the classical problem of electromagnetic scattering of spherical conductors to the case of two coalescing spheres of different size. The incident field is a linearly polarized plane wave with arbitrary polarization angle /spl gamma/ and angle of incidence /spl alpha/. The scattered field is given in terms of multipole fields scattered from each sphere.
