An analog to digital processor for imaging with CCD’s includes an input clamp, a correlated double sampler (CDS) and a logarithmic voltage controlled attenuator before final amplification. Autozero loops provide for a low offset independent of gain changes. A 10 bit 22MHz A/D provides a digital output. The entire chip has dimensions of 107 mils by 164 mils and dissipates 180 mw. The processor can operate at speeds up to 22 MHz and voltages down to 2.7 volts.
