Factors affecting E-learning implementation in Southern Africa

E-learning is learning that began with the introduction of computers and smartphones. It has been implemented successfully in developed countries such as the United States of America and almost the entire Europe. Little of it has been implemented in Southern Africa simply because most of the students and teachers are not fully technologically conversant, especially in the fields of computer and e-technology. In this paper, an in-depth discussion of e-learning is examined and its advantages and disadvantages explained. Southern Africa situation is also discussed and the possible solutions to the challenges faced in implementation of e-learning given.
