Case-based reasoning and decision support systems

Augmented by rule based reasoning and data mining method, case based reasoning is used as a principle reasoning paradigm of the knowledge based decision support system. Based on this combined reasoning, decision support system has been applied to reclamation area monitoring and modelling. One of the most important functions of case based reasoning is the adaptation to a new situation. The development of adaptation editors is discussed.
