Opportunity analysis of intelligent project based organization business model for Moroccan project based organizations: Application to engineering sector

Developing countries, as less impacted by the international economic crisis, should prepare their businesses to take advantages from the raising development opportunities. They have to shift from the classical management approaches to an Intelligent Project Based Organization Model (IPBOM) that provides flexibility and agility. An opportunity analysis of IPBOM applied to a typical Moroccan engineering company (EC) demonstrates that this model is very beneficial for development and growth. Engineering sector (ES) is chosen for its strategic importance to Moroccan economy and because ECs operate through Projects and represents well Moroccan PBOs. Findings are then analytically generalized to the whole Moroccan engineering sector and, finally, to the other Moroccan PBOs.
