Frequency of losing two rights-of-way due to tornadoes

A mathematical model is presented for computing the frequency of losing two rights-of-way due to tornadoes. Relevant tornado characteristics are discussed and the usefulness of the model is demonstrated in an example. It is shown that the model can provide useful information for the transmission planning process.
