Detection of Cardioseismographic Signals throughout the Body

An accelerometer placed on the chest produces a periodic ~1 Hz signal linked to the cardiac cycle. If one places accelerometers on the head, a 1 Hz background signal can also be detected in all three axes. This paper investigates the source of these head acceleration signals.
