Novel reliable control designs for discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with actuators faults

This paper is concerned with the problem of reliable control designs for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems with actuators faults based on a new kind of fuzzy control law. Firstly, a sufficient condition for the existence of reliable fuzzy control laws is given by using the well-known Lyapunov stability theory, which is in terms of a coupled matrix inequality. Secondly, the underlying coupled matrix inequality is converted into a set of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs), which can be easily solved via standard numerical software. Due to the introduction of some additional matrix variables, the conservatism is somewhat released than before. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the approach proposed in this paper.
