Synthesis of well controlled dendritic structures for biomedical applications

The fourth generation dendron based on 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid (bis-MPA) was synthesized using a double-stage convergent growth approach. Alkyne function-alization experiments of the dendron core were also conducted and the results are provided.
