New systems improve picture quality and performance

Progress in picture quality and computing performance continued to mark the new interactive computer graphics systems exhibited at Siggraph 84 this summer in Minneapolis. In addition, about half of the systems provided for distributing functions by means of a local area network, and about the same fraction embodied some ergonomic features.
