Measurement of the time jitter of coherent terahertz synchrotron radiation with a superconducting detector

We have applied an ultrafast superconducting YBa
2
Cu
3
O
7-δ
(YBCO) detector to study the time jitter of the propagating electron bunches in a synchrotron. The jitter was determined from the coherent terahertz (THz) synchrotron radiation (CSR).
