Sensorless estimation and simulation of PMSM based on high-frequency signal injection

The sensorless estimation principle of rotor speed and position for PMSM by high-frequency signal injection is given. The characteristic and filtering method of high-frequency current signal, rotor position signal extraction based on victor transformation and heterodyning processing method are introduced in detail. The simulation models are made, simulation results are obtained. The efficiency is verified by simulation results, problems need be resolved such as sample frequency of high-frequency current, filter design and its delay, interference with high-frequency signal from other signals, real-time compensation of rotor position, decoupling control high-frequency signal system and base frequency system, estimation response, and so on.
