Introducing Google Chart Tools and Google Maps API in Data Visualization Courses

This article reports the experience of using Google Chart Tools and Google Maps in a data visualization course at Georgia State University. These visualization toolkits have many benefits but haven't been widely used in such courses. Students found them easy to use for creating a variety of interactive data visualizations.
