Time-domain modelling of antennas and reflectors with exact absorbing boundary conditions

In this paper, a problem of efficient truncation of the computational domain of model initial boundary value problems is discussed for axi-symmetrical open electrodynamic structures. This is applied to analyze the characteristics of some axially-symmetrical antennas and reflectors used in communications.
