robust fault tolerant control are studied for a class of nonlinear Descriptor systems with time-varying delays. The T-S fuzzy model is employed to represent a nonlinear system, for the actuator fault of systems with disturbance, the state feedback controller is designed. The sufficient conditions are obtained based on Lyapunov asymptotic stability theory and linear matrix inequality method, which are dependent on time delays and satisfies the H
_∞
performance index of the system. The relationship among the terms of the nonlinear system and the relationship among the terms in the Leibniz-Newton formula are expressed by introducing some free weighting matrices. This treatment avoids difficulties and blindness in the handing of the Lyapunov function, and less conservative results are obtained. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
