Rotor Break-Bar Fault Diagnosis of Asynchronous Motor Based on Empirical Mode Decomposition

(s is slip and fs is supply frequency), the startup stator current signal is decomposed into several intrinsic mode function(IMF) through emporocal mode decomposition (EMD),meanwhile, According to contain the IMF component fault information can give the number of the rotor broken bars. Experimental results demonstrate that this method is feasible.
