On the efficient computation of Lyapunov exponents

An efficient and numerically stable method to determine all the Lyapunov characteristic exponents of a discrete dynamical system is presented. The method is compared with known methods in terms of efficiency, and the accuracy and stability of the methods are tested by numerical experiments.
