Circuit modelling of multilayer graphene nanoribbon (MLGNR) interconnects

Circuit modelling of single- and multi-layer graphene nanoribbon (GNR) interconnects is carried out in this paper. It is mainly based on an equivalent single-conductor (ESC) model, with both inductive and capacitive couplings between adjacent layers of the GNR treated in an appropriate way. Further, the impact of contact resistance on the time delay of the GNR interconnect is studied theoretically. It is demonstrated that the MLGNRs could provide superior performance than that of the counterpart of Cu wire.
